Lately I’ve been playing around a lot with the Olympus 60mm Macro lens on the OM-D E-M1 camera. It gives nice, sharp results, but they’re a bit too “modern” to my eye. 🙂 So this morning when I saw some raindrops on the roses, I broke out the old Vivitar 70-150 Close Focus lens and ventured forth to see if I’d manage to capture any reasonably decent snaps.

I’ve long been fascinated by this last flower. It comes out of the side of the blade/leaf of the plant and a day later it is gone. It reproduces kind of like “crab grass” by sending runners off to the side. And it’s a lovely mix of colors.
