A little sun(flower) despite the winter

While friends and family up north are experiencing a bit of snowy/icy weather, here about 500 miles north of the Equator, right in the heart of Coffee Country, we’ve got much milder winter weather. Clouds, occasional rain, cooler weather. Nice. And yesterday I grabbed a few shots from the garden in front of the church meeting place.

As usual, the only editing was to watermark, no tweaking and definitely no AI used. Was shooting the Canon EOS 6D sporting a Fotodiox M42-EOS adapter in which my rickety Zenit Helios 44M-6 50mm/f2 lens did the honors. I really like how this lens softens the image and renders the bokeh under the right lighting conditions.
